100 Day

For the 100th day of school, the 4th graders made collage portraits to show what they will look like at age 100.  A few quick examples of where wrinkles go, ("look at your partner and squish your face!) and off they went!  They cut out an oval to paste on the black paper, cut out a face shape and neck, cut out a shirt, glued on some cotton ball hair, (oh the places these boys figured they'd be growing hair!), added a few buttons and baubles, drew in the face, et voila!  It took 2 days and although they were having fun I wasn't about to spend a third, so most of the faces are left un-colored... to "work on at home", (which I'm tooootally sure will actually happen, right?)
