Half & Half

I keep a pile of old donated magazines in the room and when kids finish a project early, I give them the option to work on a "half & half" picture.  To introduce the concept we did a half & half of faces in my 3rd grade class.  I told them that the only two rules were: (1) Fill the whole page (2) Think of a story before you draw.  It garnered some very creative results!
